Incredible work as usual, Bobito. Editing is wonderful and all the stories are tied in together extremely well.
Looking forward to hearing more from you. I hope the posters don’t sell out before I get my paycheck

I know the cosplay enthusiast who he is interviewing O:

I only just started listening a week ago. I can’t believe i waited so long. Each show is truly fantastic. Even teared up a few times. I wish it was a video podcast. Id love to see all the places and people you interview. I don’t care how long it takes to make a single show if they are always this entertaining. Anyways keep up the great work!
Posted by Ryan August 31, 2009 at 7:06 PM
FINALLY had the chance to hear the whole episode. Beyond just another thanks for making us sound good (er… well, as good as we can sound), thanks for the episode. I continue to be a fan of this very podcast as well.
(Also, excellent clips to use. They say… everything. …I also COMPLETELY geeked out when I hear who we were sandwiched between. Awesome.)
Posted by Orin Drake August 31, 2009 at 7:43 PM
thanks…finally…
Posted by david August 31, 2009 at 8:33 PM
wow the site looks awesome! great episode, i was getting worried that you stopped doing them.
Posted by Rice* August 31, 2009 at 10:30 PM
I’ve really been looking forward to Ep4 and I just want to say “thank you” for getting it up. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am willing to pay for ALWW.
Posted by Joonas August 31, 2009 at 10:42 PM
Wanted to also give thanks as Orin did. I’m still so impressed you communicated our story in such a wonderfully concise manner. Everyone else was great, a truly top-notch episode.
Posted by Schala-Kitty August 31, 2009 at 11:31 PM
i reckon production stills would be awesome.
just like a page with pics of anything robert ashley/ALWW related, just to keep people sated in between episodes.

Well done show. Love the interview with Jeri.
Visit her world at http://www.fatmanandcircuitgirl.com and see her latest inventions and projects in progress. Live! The show is recorded Sunday evenings.

Brilliant! i love ALWW! It’s one of the best and original video gaming podcasts (and indeed, gaming journalism pieces) around.
Posted by RedHerb September 1, 2009 at 5:32 AM
I wanted to say that these podcasts provide me with a frame of reference for feelings and thought processes that previously I didn’t know needed structure. The people that populate your world I feel are my people too, and the music accompanying each episode allows the interviewees’ words to resonate, like the lyrics of a song resonate. The music appears to be saying: this testimony matters. Thanks so much for this contribution to our culture.

Awesome as always. I dig the poster merchandise… any possibility of some shirts?
Posted by Sifo September 1, 2009 at 8:20 AM
Oh goodness, this made my morning seeing this pop up on my playlist! Thank you for all your hard work. Please, keep it up.

I’d really like to see the costumes of the cosplay enthusiast. What was her Name again, ist there a website?
Posted by Jörg Reinhardt September 1, 2009 at 10:22 AM
Welcome back, Robert. I love your show and the site has never looked better. Now that this is up and running, will you please visit your friends over at Out of the Game?

Another quality podcast and well worth the wait! Thanks for the hour of entertainment! Can’t wait for the next one.
I also think the site looks good. Less is more.

As always, ALWW is pure sonic joy. Grabbed up the two posters and looking forward to hanging them on my office wall.
Highly anticipated episode 5.
Posted by Chris Taran September 1, 2009 at 11:08 AM
Such a great show it brought humanity to cosplayers, which I have never really understood until this episode. Thank you
Posted by Eric Cire September 1, 2009 at 12:33 PM
That may have been the best episode yet
Posted by cody tuck September 1, 2009 at 1:26 PM
5 years between episodes and you lead with a bit about cosplay?! You’re lucky I love this show so much.
Keep that wasted life-ball rolling.
Posted by rabid fan September 1, 2009 at 2:07 PM
That was fantastic! Well worth the wait… Robert, you are taking the level of quality of podcast production to the next tier.
Posted by Hapkidoka September 1, 2009 at 3:11 PM
Wow, amazing update here Robert. Both the site and the episode are amazing.
Posted by Scott Cook September 1, 2009 at 3:22 PM
Wouldn’t it be awesome if this episode was animated?
Posted by AlfredPMcL September 1, 2009 at 3:41 PM
Oh man, that was good. I love love love love the Radio motif, and you continue to combine interviews and music in your brilliant way. Wonderful stuff. Can’t wait for what comes next (hopefully a b-side so it comes sooner, haha!)
Posted by Jim September 1, 2009 at 4:19 PM
One complaint (I know, I know) – the happy “the podcast is over” music you used in episodes (I think) 2 and 3 (and maybe the second b-side) is just about my favorite thing in the whole wide world and I was sad to see it go. Please bring it back next time? I love love love that bit of music.
Posted by Jim September 1, 2009 at 4:26 PM
Simply awesome.
Posted by J K September 1, 2009 at 11:40 PM
YES!
Posted by Blake September 2, 2009 at 12:32 AM
I loved the show, you manage to find such interesting people, simply brilliant
Posted by Ryan Lowry September 2, 2009 at 2:13 AM
Generally speaking I listen to podcasts at 2x speed because there’s so much content out there I want to consume. I simply can’t do that with ALWW, because every moment of it is too good to distort in any way. Bravo. Already can’t wait for the next one.
Posted by Eric September 2, 2009 at 6:55 AM
iTunes download times out. MP3 link works though
Posted by Daniel September 2, 2009 at 7:11 AM
Great epidose! Hope you get the posters for the “Gotta Catch’em All” episode soon.
That poster looks sooooo Designers Republic. Gotta have it!
Posted by Paralax September 2, 2009 at 7:25 AM
These podcasts are so good! Makes me feel all arm and fuzzy knowing I’m not the only person in the world that gets a kick out of this kind of thing (not the cosplay or fan-fic though).
Robert, you should be making TV documantaries, the subjects you cover are so visual is seems a shame to restrict them to audio.
Posted by Shane September 2, 2009 at 7:28 AM
Wow, great episode. But have you ever thought of releasing pictures to go along the audio? Not real full motion video, but something for the iPod to display, showing some of the stuff the people are talking about. Not an audio only podcast, but a slide(show)cast of sorts.
