I listened to the episodes sort of in chrono-reverse and loved all of them. Well-researched plus a deep human element of the field. Please don’t let the background music force its way in front of the spoken bits, as – like in other well/wasted casts – it sometimes gets a bit tough to hear the talk above the music.

The death of gaming print magazines comes as no surprise, as it correlates with the sorry state of depth in game releases now. I laughed at the stories the staff told and was moved too (as most of your listeners probably likewise can relate to these on some personal note). Will miss good print writing and the pace of those times.

this is incredible. it feels like someone is reading a games magazine to me and the colors and the design and pictures are music and sound effects.

Finally got around to listening to this, Robert. (Don’t hate me!) Totally blown away. I had super high expectations for this, so I procrastinated a while, but you seriously nailed it.

Really sad to hear old pals, many of whom no longer live here as a result, talk about the demise of EGM. Made me teary.
